Has anyone who interviewed at AZCOM gotten waitlisted, or a straight answer only such as acceptance/rejection?

I have been accepted to AZCOM. I interviewed on 9/22 and I recieved an acceptance within a week and a half. First by telephone, then by snailmail

I interviewed there on 9/26, called on 10/6 and found out that i was accepted. they are very quick there

have you had to place down your deposit yet? What's the deadline and how much is/was it?

the deposit isn't due for a while (i think like feb) and it is $250. it isn't like most schools

9/26 (thurs) and found out 10/6 (the next friday)

When did you have your interview?

i'm interviewing on 11/4 and really don't want to get waitlisted! (or rejected) so i was wondering if anyone knew what the stats are unofficially (it wasn't posted on the thread that has the stats of interview/rejection/acceptance etc).

My accepted paperwork states the first deposit of $250 is due on Dec 15th, and the last one of $750 is due on March 1st.

how long do they give you to decide whether you want to accept tha acceptance? THanks!

Do you mean 11/3? I didn't know they do interviews on Saturday! Well if what you meant is 11/3, I'll see you there! Good luck to both of us 🙂

I think this is posted in several places, but here it is again.

Colleges of osteopathic medicine may begin extending offers of admission at any time after the interview. Applicants will be requested to submit necessary matriculation documents, including a deposit, according to the following schedule:

• those accepted prior to November 15 will have until December 14

• those accepted between November 15 and January 14 will have 30 days

• those accepted between January 15 and June 14 will have 14 days

• those accepted after June 15 may be asked for an immediate deposit.

As a 4th year medical student at AZCOM and a student interviewer--I think you have a greater chance of being accepted the earlier you receive an interview (seeing as the school has a rolling admissions policy). Most people who are interviewed in the Sept, Oct, Nov group will likely be accepted--unless their interview goes poorly!

:luck:

I interviewed on 10/27...am very anxious to hear from them!

Really? That's good to hear because I'm interviewing tomorrow! Flying from CA to AZ later and I'm getting nervous already! 😛

When I interviewed there on 10/27, they told us that you can call us late next week if you dont mind us telling you over the phone. May be I will call them tomorrow around 4:00PM pacific time to see if they have made decision for all of us. Good luck everyone!!👍

Hey Doc2007, I called Bea in admissions this morning and she said they are still interviewing this group and probably won't have decisions for at least another week. Just FYI...ahh, more waiting!

Hi Gildas,

I was there on 10-31 as well--I was the bald guy in the tan suit 🙂 and I think I know which one you were.

I enjoyed talking to you and I'm sure you did excellently in your interview. Don't worry--I suspect we all babble under these circumstances 😉

I really liked AZCOM as well. Good luck and perhaps we'll be classmates next year.
