I heard that AZCOM's interview is semi-blind- meaning that they do not have access to your scores and grades - is this true?

If it is, then here is another ques:

I have an interview in 2 weeks. I graduated from univeristy of florida in Biomedical Engineering.
GPA 3.1/3.1 - i worked full time to support myself - killed my grades
mcat 27
tons of healthcare exp both research and volunteer.

If the interview is semi-blind, should i bring up my poor GPA and discuss my need to work nearly full time? Or go on the assumption that AZCOM has looked at my scores and GPA and has decided that they are ok, and want to interview me just to get to know me and see how if i mesh with their system?

Thanks!

Was there really a need to post this twice?

The interviews are blind. If you bring it up at all, bring it up at the end when they ask you if you have any questions or anything you'd like to say. Don't make a big deal of it, though, if you do bring it up.

I was even more extreme (lower GPA and higher MCAT) and was surprised that scores or academic competency came up. I think they are more interested in personalities at the interview stage.

Act mature and make sure they understand how committed you are. If you get a chance, explain how hard a worker you are by mentioning that you had to work through school.

Hope that helps...

or you could talk about the time you got busted for dui, stole dx from work, broke up with your girlfriend to date her little sister...😀
i wouldn't even worry about it...i loved that they had no idea what my scores were...i felt they were much more genuine and interested in ME as a person. I would suggest reading over you application. They each had a copy in front of them and asked me stuff straight from it...(ie: what instruments do you play? you said you like to read, what was the last book you read? tell me more about your job...) I had a great interview and literally knew the minute it ended that i was going to attend here. Best of luck to you...and i would avoid revealing any dirt about yourself 🙂

If you are interviewing, they are interested in you already. The interviewers want to see if you fit with the program and the program fits your personality. Don't sweat the interview.
