Have any of you read any literature on SLE and whether or not azithromycin is contraindicated?

Why would it be?

I didn't think it would considering I can't find a way that it directly affects the cell-mediated immune response. It was just hearsay, so I tried to find journal articles on it and was unsuccessful. That's all.
