Does anyone know the difference between having an alternate status and being waitlisted for Azusa Pacific University? I'd appreciate any help. Thank you.

I want to say that being a program alternate is the same as being waitlisted, it's just a different term they use?

I have asked the school, and was told they are different but that was it.
