Do B-cells mature in the bone marrow or lymph nodes (germinal centers)? I keep seeing different responses to this. And where do they proliferate?

Thank you!!

B cells undergo their initial maturation from stem cells to immature B cells in the bone marrow. The earlier B cells stages are unable to respond to any antigen. They are released as immature B cells where they mature further in the spleen or lymph nodes to become mature, and fully functional B cells.
