Is it necessary to retake Orgo 1, in which I received a C-, when I received a B+ in Orgo 2 the next semester?
That B+ semester was also the beginning of my upward trend. I also took biochem recently and did well so I don't know if it's still necessary to retake Orgo 1. I'm honestly trying to avoid it because my T20 university has ridiculous methods to try to make it "different" in some way and all it does is lower the class average extensively, which reflects terribly on our transcripts. I can't risk any damage to my GPA that I'm working hard to rebuild.
