I just found out I got a B in orgo as a post bacc student. I go to a "top" ivy league post bacc and have great EC's (research, Americorps etc...) but I really worry this put the nail in the coffin...you see, orgo was the only class i was taking last semester because I needed to work more and dropped physics early on...this semester i'm going for 3 classes but will that be a huuuuuuuuge red flag? I really expected to see a B+ i'm pretty bummed....any help? if it matters i'm still above a 3.5 post bacc and had a 2.9-3.0 undergrad from an Ivy...i'm taking a few (and doing well in) upper levels but this bothers me more because i have really struggled with physics in the past and i'm not counting on that helping me raise the gpa if you know what i mean....oh man. thoughts?

does anyone have experience with similar grades? i'm strongly considering DO schools as well.

not huge, not red, barely a flag

One possibility--check with your prof that your grade was correct. Last year I received a B in a class in which I expected an A. Called up my prof and it turns out he made a typo when submitting the grades. Maybe your prof accidentally forgot that +.

Regardless I think you can definitely balance out whatever (small) negative impact that orgo grade will have with a strong spring semester. Good luck.
