hi,

i have done my B pharma from india in 2004 . now i want to do my masters in US in pharmaceutical administration or pharmaceutical sciences. i have work experiance of 4 years in pharmacy as a pharmacy staff and worked as a pharmacist in india .I need to know that is MS in pharmaceutical administration or pharmaceutical sciences is really fruitfull for me and i am very much intrested in doing pharmacist job in US .Please advice and let me know what should be the correct choice. 🙂

A pharm.D. is now required to receive pharmacy license in the US. Foreign-trained pharmacists with B pharm usually go through a 2.5 year international program that will award you a Pharm.D. There are a few pharmacy schools that offer this program. If you get admission to one of these schools, you will be given a student visa, and after graduate, depending on the demand, you will get a H1B Visa (if a retail chain sponsors you). If you have any more questions, private message me.

Hi, I am also interested in pursuing this kind of degree. How can you work in the US with no green card and no social security number?

Western U has an international program where you can start as a P2. There is an exam and interview with about 100+ apps and 20+ seats.

Most of the people I seen at last years interview where from India. Just please don't wear white cotton socks with your black suit like some of them were. Man what in the hell is that about, if you are going to come here learn our fashion first dude.

They accept people from all over the world though. (Japan, India..etc) The international students have problems with the federal loans but they can take out private ones. There is a student visa but you can find everything out on there site. westernu.edu
