BA before applying

I have no degree and was accepted to one of the top schools in the nation, so you do not necessarily need a degree. But most pharmacy schools these days are being filled up by many who do have degrees. If you have a fairly competitive GPA and PCAT after taking prereqs, then I say go for it and apply without the degree and see where it takes you.

Hope this helps 😎

I get the impression that right now is a "transition" time for pharmacy schools. Auburn recently upped their pre-reqs to 3 years worth instead of 2 (the 2009 class is the first class to take 3 years). I bet as time progresses they will eventually require a degree as well.

i don't think any schools will formally say they require a degree prior to entrance. the reason being while things are the way they are now, they are not likely to stay like that and it would be very difficult to go back to 2-3 yr prereqs after specifically stating they require a BS/BA
