So, for those following, my little boy Ian was born on the 16th of December. I know that some may not think a thread like this goes here, but I figure I'll tie it in with being a non-trad.
Over the past few days, I really have to admit that working nights for so long has made it easier to adjust to the constant needs of a newborn. My spouse used to work days, and I was working nights and going to school during the day, both full time. I do have to schedule my school and work with more precision, but I still believe this is very possible, and not really that much harder. I am glad we had him at this point in my school career (freshman year) because I would not want to trade these first few years for anything. Holding my little Ian, and taking care of him while he is so helpless, it really fills a part of me that I didn't know existed. On top of that, I have a new found urge to become as healthy as possible, and work even harder at school.
I'll update once Spring semesters starts, and give a rundown oh how my days play out.
