I hate math with a passion. I would rather poke myself in the eye with cautery than take any more math.. HOWEVER, to graduate my advisor just informed me I need Calculus. Even though it slightly depends on the institution, in most cases is business calc ok for this. (the 3hr) or in most cases for a bach. of science will i need the 5 hr.?

hi!

i graduated with a B.S. in statistics and minored in math..i know that for university of michigan, you do not need specific math courses to count toward your b.s., as long as they fall under a quantitative reasoning category. You do need a certain amount of credit hours of science/math courses to count toward a B.S. (in my case it was 60 hrs) check your school's course catalog and see where your business calculus falls under, if it was through your math department, i would assume it would be fine. i would definitely check with your advisor to make sure you have enough science credits to get the B.S. and also check with some one from the math department at your school to get their opinion. good luck! =)
