Bachelor of science or BA with art minor?

I am registering for courses for my senior year and have the option of either doing a BA in chemistry and then adding an art minor, or doing a bachelor of science in chemistry. I think I would enjoy either but would medical schools prefer either? I really want to take a couple more art courses and could add them even with the BS, but would a minor be a better idea?
