Anybody that goes there... how in the heck is The Bachelorette, who says she's in her last year at UPenn, get to go on the show? At my school, the only way to get by is to fly as low under the radar as possible! Is she taking the year off? If so, the administration approved of this as an excuse?? I think it's cool she's on the show, but I just don't understand.

SAME THING I said to my wife last night...as rough as dental school is, there's no way she can do all of this AND go through dental school.
 
How was she even on The Bachelor too?
She did both, the bachelor and the bachelorette...

and in the intro she said she worked on pts between her time on the Bachelor and her time on th Bachelorette. . . I guess UPenn wants a celebrity. No doubt it is going to increase their app number

Very annoying. Almost as annoying as the constant dental jokes. . . Plus it makes people think dentists are as dumb as her

My wife told me she read somewhere that she had a 3.96 GPA at UPenn lol!
 
How was she able to do the bachelor and the bachelorette while in dental school?
i dont understand......
 
I liked how she kicked the guy off who said that was "the first time he's ever been excited to see a dentist" haha I'm all for jokes but I generally don't insult the girl's profession on a first date!

Edit: Wow, long time since I posted, think I was predent back then, how times flies...
 
I was going to post about this too. Seems so unbelievable that UPENN would let her have so much time off. I don't get it!
 
She took a leave of absence for the Bachelor and then again for the Bachelorette. I dont know her and I dont go to UPenn but I was really curious about this when she was doing the Bachelor so I searched for the answer. RealitySteve seems to know all the backstage details. I'm still surprised they let her do this... but hey, good for her, she can pay off those loans without too much hassle!!
 
Above poster is correct - she took a leave of absence and I saw her back in main clinic today treating patients.

Haha, do you know how expensive Penn is? She has said in interviews that she won't be able to pay off her loans (in full) with her salary from the show. I don't think she's making more than 100k if even that much.

She didn't make anything while taping the Bachelor but she did make over 100k from the Bachelorette. Not enough to pay off all the loans but still good enough to cover a nice portion of the loans.
 
I just read a thing that said she picks JP and they are engaged now. Final two were Ben F (winemaker) and JP.

Oh awesome, good for her then. For some crazy reason I was assuming people did this for free.

nice. between her Bachelorette revenue, her career as a dentist, and the alimony she'll get from her impending and inevitable divorce, she's got her future made. 😎
 
She seems like an incredibly sweet girl and she's clearly very intelligent (3.92 at UMaine and 3.96 at Penn). Great dancer too.

Where did you read this? I don't follow the show at all, but I would be very surprised if she leaked the results.

She did it for a lot less than free if she actually leaked information about the results before the shows air. I'm sure the network has a very detailed contract with every participant's signature to cover this sort of thing.

There is a guy called "reality steve" or something of the sort and he has like some connection to ABC. He has every episode broken down. From who gets the one on one dates and who goes home.

I'm guessing those results are pretty solid, considering he was correct last season. So I am unsure if Ashley herself is leaking the information
 
Could someone please explain to me why she liked Bently so much?
What was her fascination with Bently? There were warnings about him, yet she really liked him a lot... why?
 
Does anyone here go to Upenn? I'm just really curious what Ashley is like in real life. Is she as annoying as she seems on TV? Does she talk like a valley girl?

My roommate, also a second year, looks exactly like Constantine. He's had multiple girls walk up to him at bars telling him so. It pisses him off and usually his first response is "I'd beat his ass".
