Wondering if raf realized that part of the analysis Abs posted was...suspicions of raf. So if Abs is being a helpful villager with solid analysis, maybe we should be lynching raf 🙂
Not weird to me at all, I always get squinty when people defend me without a real good reason to do so.
It might seem weird, because it was in defense/favor/whatever of me, but honestly when she was asked which posts made me seem overly helpful I was thinking "I'd like to see them too". And it made me squinty.

I'm thinking of switching my vote but I also wanted to chase down the Jilary trail. Hmm.
You can lynch me, but you'll just be losing a villager who is off her game this time. I don't think I'm playing this game any differently than I've played other games. But I'm thinking there might be wolves just trying to take advantage of a villager who's having a worse game than normal. Maybe with my lynch you guys will at least have some new leads about who to look at for wolves, so I can still be helpful to village that way.
No I don't really feel that way at all. Yes there were a lot of jokes, but LIS asked for her analysis and she gave it. I don't really feel this comment is out of line.
This feels like a rather derisive comment. It's actually giving me more feels about you.
Just clarifying--I have already said Abs is neutral to village for me. I am not questioning Abs' analysis at all with this comment. What I was questioning was the very strong self-deprecation that seemed a little out of hand for me. I would not go as far as to say that if I were raf given that most of what Abs has posted was jokes. Hopefully that makes more sense. I just wanted to get a vote out there early and I raised my eyebrow at that comment. It's fine if you don't agree 🙂
Lynch ally
I didn't like how quickly she jumped on the coop wagon but let it go because it was day 1 and only mildly questionable. But then she calls me out for a typo of all things and it seems to be grasping at straws for a reason to lynch somebody.
Those things aside I'm just getting a weird vibe that reminds me a little bit of last time she was a wolf in a game I played. Of course, that time she was a overly helpful if I recall but it got her lynched inmediately so it doesnt
I agree with this as well. That Coopah comment especially gave me some weird feels on my read through yesterday.

Sorry I should clarify, my comment, or the comment ally made about me?
I almost missed this little tidbit from Cyndia in the flurry of posts earlier today, so I'm glad a couple people highlighted it. First part sounds kinda like wolfy egging on, and I made a big skeptical face at the "I'm sure wolves didn't want that ability to stay around" part.
@Cyndia -- you think a 2-shot vigilante in the hands of a new player is going to be a top priority for wolves to eliminate? ...yeah ohhh-k. This is only my second game, and even I think that is crazy talk. Even if it was that concerning of an ability, why wouldn't they just kill her during the night cycle and spare themselves the risk of exposure from lynch votes? You just moved yourself on to my "wolfy feels" list with that comment.
I'm going to have to disagree with the last part. In any game with a high percentage of vanillagers, wolves want to get rid of pretty much anyone with a role. Sure they would prefer to get rid of a seer, tracker, protector first, but anyone with a role is fairly high priority to eliminate. Also, wolves love it when villagers lynch the person they want to kill, because that leaves them open to kill someone else that they want to get rid of.
Er, not LIS, Lupin. Sorry, wrong game. 🙂
She has the misfortune of being the person STL picked and I 1) want to see if he's right and 2) don't want to miss out on voting for her if it's one of the few times she is a wolfWhy are we thinking Jilary? Is it just STL's gut?
Seems like it. ::sigh::Why are we thinking Jilary? Is it just STL's gut?
Anyways I was basically just saying it doesn't surprise me to not see the same behavior.
Everyone is a wolf except for me and thee, and I have my doubts about thee. 😛I mean, he could be. Like I said, until proven otherwise, I assume everyone but me is a wolf. 😀
My calendar says I may not be home before lynch closes, so I need to get my comments / defense / lynch in now. Apologies that I've only had a chance to skim today's thread.
My vote for today is to
**** lynch Jil ****
Entirely because I want to see what STL is up to. If Jil flips village, STL gets my vote for Day 3, because of the cdo waffles.
For anyone interested in meta-play as a defense, in StarWWars III, I refused to get on LIS's egg-breaking Jabba-fueled bandwagon, because I wanted to set precedent for not getting on any Jabba-wolf-wagons. Villagers don't need to set precedent.

@SummerTheLynx seems to be sure Jil is a wolf even though STL still choose to lynch cdo on D1.
I don't understand why people wanted to lynch cdo - especially after cdo revealed her role to everyone. Still don't get it. cdo's "vigilante with 2 shot" role seemed valuable to me.
I would gladly tell someone in pm that I can trust wouldn't let get back to Jilary. Pming is not an option this game unless someone has a role for it. If someone has a night communication ability today, and you are a person I trust not to blab back to Jilary a flaw in her play, please choose me to pm with tonight. I would rather keep a known player flaw close to home then let them fix it. If that comes at the cost of a few more people being suspicious of me, I am fine with that.@SummerTheLynx I need a slightly better idea from you on why jilary. Mostly to fully decide if i'm going to lynch you or someone else. I went through the 5 posts jilary had before you called her as sketchy and I guess I'm just not seeing anything there.
FWIW, I was saying for people to switch off and let Jilary defend today (which up until the point I am read now, she really hasn't). I wouldn't put too much into coopah, but that's just me.Sorry I just got around to reviewing some posts. Took me a while. Here are my thoughts on some players that gave me slight feels. Sorry it's long.
SAR and mmm are playing pretty similarly to the way they did in the noob game as villagers. I know this doesn't mean they are necessarily villagers, but with such little information I would say they lean that way for me.
Coopah is giving me slight neutral to wolf feels. I just got a chance to review the lynch from yesterday and her very last minute change to cdo was sketchy to me. I feel like STL's change back to cdo was also sketchy, but Coopah was just following STL and it ended up being the deciding vote. I also felt like her defense wasn't particularly strong to her accumulation of votes yesterday, but I understand there probably wasn't a lot she could do in that situation.
Finn is also in the slight neutral to wolf category for me. Concise posts for the most part, with a some strategy. But to me it feels like minimal strategy at this point just to get by under the radar.
I see what DrS was going for about Abs, but given what posts I have seen from hers around SDN I would not be surprised if this posting style is just indicative of her personality. So I would probably lean more neutral to village there currently.
I am having trouble reading most of the veteran players as of now because I haven't played with them yet, but I thought I would provide the (not very concrete) thoughts I have for some people.
*sigh* it's posts like this, when I see them frequently, that makes me more and more want to put you in wolf territory. I feel like I see you posting everywhere, and adding minimal to discussion. You come off as weird to me!
(As in a come back way. Not in I'm suspicious of you way)
You shouldn't be convinced that anyone is a wolf at this point. But you should throw together information that you do have, interrogate, put pressure, throw accusations, and see how people react. We can all just sit here and say "Meh, I don't know that anyone is a wolf, let me just wait on a seer." But two issues with that. One, we might as well be playing "how well can the seer guess who wolves are?" instead of WW. Two, in a basics game, with a protector dead, the seer gets to name one wolf. That's it. They can risk holding wolves names close to home, and hope they can release more than one, but they may die with that info doing that. And the "I am not good at this" is not an excuse. Guess how you are going to get better? by trying over and over again until you actually figure out wolves. I used to be abysmal at finding wolves. Now I am okay to decent at it. It's not something that you naturally have.I really don't understand why I'm coming off as sketch this game? I really don't post that much in the beginning of games, and in the past few games I have been the worst at finding wolves. I'm just trying to read and get some feels on people, but no, I'm not convinced that anyone is a wolf at this point. I've posted my reason for voting yesterday and I posted my thoughts for today.

I am sure most of my responses will be terribly out of date, but going down the list now to catch up.

When veterans say this, it always makes me side eye. It seems like you are giving an excuse for only being on for a short period of time, and then leaving. I have done this as a wolf many times in post requirement games. Only posted during a short period of the time of the day, this way I am forgettable. People have moved on past me. I had you in safe villager category before this, now I am giving hard side eye.Crap I should have split that into multiple posts. I'm probably going to be short this cycle.
Accusing people wrongly is part of the game. In one game in the lounge, I was SOOOOOO convinced LIS was a wolf. Like the to the point that I was just attacking him down on every post, trying to just get him to admit he was a wolf (I probably went a bit over the top that game). Surprise, he wasn't. It happens. You don't learn if you don't throw accusations out there. And then afterwards figure out why you were wrong. In that case, it's because I assumed mechanics for a mod when I should have looked more at posting style and voting patterns.I've been rereading and trying to put my thoughts together so I don't accuse someone wrongly again.
Fine, now that detective can only out one wolf anyway given the death of the protector, let me explain my logic. I was backed into a corner and was going to be lynched. I could either die, or die knowing that I exposed WTF as the seer and set her up to be knocked out by the wolves. It saved a wolf for a day and made you take out a villager AND exposed the detective on the subsequent day. It's a good play for a wolf who is facing death early on.Did you play the last basics game? STL claimed he was the seer D1 to get out of a lynch that he really should have been able to talk himself out of. The reason he claimed seer? To out the actual seer so the wolves could kill her.
I made two posts between doing stuff that needed to get done like cooking and laundry. Yes, I know I was being talked about, but I don't understand what STL's deal is, and I really didn't think anyone was going to follow his weird vague comment yesterday. It's hard to defend against something he isn't even willing to disclose. I honestly believe he either has me confused with someone else (judging by his "don't make me go back and check my spreadsheets" comment) or he's being a bold wolf trying to out people with roles, which wouldn't surprise me either.
LOL! This is SOOOO true. She always gets lynched!
I missed this, why do you have concerns for snowy? As far as strategizing goes, I usually like to go off of the theme of the game. Usually the mods make the game mechanics somewhat follow the theme of the game. I like strategizing based on this because I'm not particularly great at accurately analyzing posts. This game, all we have to go off of is the previous basics game, so I'm finding it difficult to really strategize on the theme because I assume Dy didn't just use the same game over again. I think the roles are turning out to be not as basic as we were expecting, but other than that, there isn't much to discuss in that regard. I think there are going to be wolves everywhere, some active and some quiet players, so lynching someone just because they're quiet probably isn't going to get anywhere unless we get lucky. I've posting my concerns for snowy, obviously no one agrees with them, but it's not like I haven't stated some suspicion.

One thing I will say, even when I am right, you shouldn't just follow me because you say I was good last game. Try and contribute with reasons that you are seeing as well. You can say something in her case like "The high amount of fluff posts to content posts, she attacked those that accused her more than actually defending herself, etc." But think for yourself a little bit. Also, call me n00b or biased, but STL's helped me with his savantness through a couple different games.
Lynch Jil
I planned to work on it when I get home@WildZoo - I would love to hear more from you, you seem to be fading into the background, and I feel like games where you can analyze and you are a vanillager are your bread and butter. Unless you aren't a vanillager 😉 (half joking, but really, I feel like I have seen no real analysis from you, you have been helpful, but not in an analysis way if that makes sense.)
Well looks like Zensing already explained what I had done so befMinor point, but STL outed himself because he couldn't talk his way out of the lynch any other way. About half of the villagers were really convinced that early posters had PM'd roles. Outing the seer was a nice way to spin the unfolding disaster, and we sort-of outed the tracker as a bonus, but I think STL and the rest of us would've preferred to avoid suspicion on day 1.
I don't think STL would be so bold as to push a villager day 1 if he were a wolf. Maybe he's wrong, but I think he's honestly convinced that you're a wolf. Your defense reads as casting shade on STL rather than clearing your own play, and that isn't helping.
lynch Jilary
Oh give me a break, you are complaining at my wording of it. If I had said "strong feels" or "very strong feels" it's the same thing that other veterans do. You are getting upset that I called it a tell.Yup that's bull**** STL. If anything, it's somewhat unsportsmanlike (and thus somewhat unlike you) to hold onto a "tell" that would let someone improve their playing. Cute that you'd be fine telling it to someone but lo and behold it's a game where that probably is not an option.
Me having done something in the past is a bit different than a tell. i don't always do that as a wolf, but it's been a traditionally better way for me to survive longer in games as a wolf.So STL doesn't want to give away someone else's tell but is claiming a tell himself (what he's accusing kcough of)? ooookay
And I will agree with this. In any game, you should never clear me for finding a wolf. In a game that the wolves are scaled where certain wolves have better chances of surviving later in the game, and I get one that will survive later into the game, I will gladly bus a wolf who is scaled to die earlier rather than later.Tbh Jil flipping wolf still wouldn't clear STL in my mind. He is absolutely someone who would throw a d1 lynch vote at a fellow wolf. Why I agree with DVMD that I would like to hear exactly what he is seeing with her.
I missed this, why do you have concerns for snowy?
unlynch ally
lynch snowy
I'm still not convinced on the cdo thing.
But I'm intrigued by snowy saying that cdo should wait and not reveal a page back:
and then a little earlier on this page she's turned to wanted cdo to role reveal. Kind of seems to me like a she could be a wolf trying to play villager and convince someone else to not role reveal to keep information hidden at first. And then once STL came out with reasons cdo should role reveal, she started pushing for the reveal, like a wolf that found an ok reason to push for village information.
I could still go with my snowy lynch from yesterday. I posted my feels yesterday and her posts today seem like they're trying to be helpful with figuring things out, but then don't really seem to go anywhere. I'm just getting a lot of feels there.
I hope our noobs learn a lot from this game! These basic games are my favorite. Crazy abilities and mechanisms can be fun, but I really enjoy the problem solving aspect of the basic games.
Didn't someone shove a fish down your throats to silence you? I also think we were convinced you were chaos.
I saw the whole thing as more of a reflection on ski then cdo. It's like when two players know each other IRL and one is a wolf and they aren't sure they can keep up the farse in person, so they kill that person off early. At least I had that concern during the Pokémon game, was a wolf and BI was in my class. Couldn't kill her though because STL was a wolf too and he was getting all kinds of info from her.
Well looks like Zensing already explained what I had done so bef

I guess for those who have wolved with me before, what's your logic that I would bring all this attention to me at the beginning, with no votes on me day 1. i am specifically one that has yelled at fellow wolf noobs that posted too early in lynch cycles, that has pretty much scolded them to just stop talking and go into the background.
And I will agree with this. In any game, you should never clear me for finding a wolf.
