Background check (Howard University)

Does anyone know if Howard University does Background checks. I have a driving on suspended license charge. And I was wondering do I have to bring copy of my backgroud because of that? Or will they just do their own background check of me anyway.

I don't recall a background check being in my acceptance package. They only requested a physical and information about your medical history.
