I interviewed at York. The program director came in after the usual presentation and added that if anybody had a criminal record that they did not list on their application they might as well leave now.
He seemed pretty serious about it. Obviously they have been burned in the past.
My question is how often does something actually turn up? I would expect that if you passed the check to get into medical school, and didnt have any criminal activity significant enough to be mentioned in your dean's letter/get you kicked outta school, what is there to know? I realize these things must turn something up once in a while. For you folks senior to me, how often does this happen?
