hey all,

i interviewed at drew and i think my interview went very badly.
does any one have a good idea of how important the interview is to acceptance? seems like getting into drew/ucla seems a bit complex...lots of committees and such. i'm so bummed, i really love the program.

best of luck

I interviewed there, but I am not sure how much the interview is worth. Why do you think the interview went badly? I hope it tuns out ok!

oh i just had this bad feeling from the start...you know lackluster greeting and my interviewer just did not seem interested in anything i had to say...i felt like i was trying really hard. all my other interviews went well and i felt confident and in control. too bad at my last i choked. i was just was thrown off guard by the cold response. i'm still wishing hard for a miracle. it seems like so long to wait.

hope you hear wonderful news soon!

litgirl,

on the sheet given to us after the interview, it said that you could request a 2nd interview........if it went that bad, you could try that....i am not advocating either stance........just giving you some information from the interview day.......i hope you had a good interview and maybe you just felt like it was bad and in reality, it really wasn't.......it was a pretty long day......I was 2nd to last to interview so I was pretty tired but really enjoyed my interviewer and her interview style.....Stay positive and try to think good thoughts as we all wait for a response back from Drew!!! Good Luck!!!

Hey litgirl--

Don't lose hope. I also thought I had a BAD interview at Drew. The guy seemed not interested, and made a point to talk about my low Verbal score.

I thought it went pretty badly, and I was kinda bummed, but it all paid off in the end, as I got in!

So, don't get discouraged, and hope for the best. You still have a good chance of getting in if you interviewed there.

P.S. Who was your interviewer?

Take care. 😀

thanks for the insight ucsb!!!! i hope this puts some of your worries at easy litgirl! good luck!

Litgirl- I have totally heard stories from people who say that they thought they had a bad interview and it turned out that they got in. So don't lose hope! I heard about that too- that you can request an interview, however it said that it may not serve to enhance your application or something like that- it's on one of the sheets they gave us. If you live in the area, you may want to consider that. Anyways, good luck everybody!!!
