Hey, it's my last rotation of med school to which, I slacked off big time. I received a bad evaluation stating the words "dissapointed" "not scholarly" etc...

I'm already matched into a competitive field, but wanted to know if this could hurt me down the road if I decided to switch careers. I have all excellent evaluations besides this one.

tis called senioritis (inflammatory remarks s/p match 2/2 not giving a hoot)

No one's ever going to read this. If you decide to switch specialties (a little worrisome that you're already thinking about it) then most of your evaluation for the new specialty will come from your performance during intern year. I would be surprised if these comments showed up on your application to a difference specialty. Also, bear in mind that if you switch, you probably won't have to re-apply through the match.

And even if the OP had to re-apply through the match, wouldn't the medical school send out the same dean's letter, which include the same comments that made it in the first time around? aka this new comments won't have a way of re-entering his application.
