Let me make this short and quick

Application GPA: ~3.6

Took roughly 18 units, all core science classes (Biochem,Anatomy, etc) and did average on Physical Chemistry and Microbiology ( C+). I took on this schedule with work & extra-curricular activities. I have no regrets. My only excuse for the low marks is that I felt as though I did work hard enough (Although I thought I really did!!!). I received an A in biochem and B's in my other classes.

Current GPA: ~3.5

I have an upcoming interview for UCSD and the only thing that I am worried about is how big of a negative impact will those two C+'s have on all pharmacy adcoms in general?

Should I mention the 'below standard performance' during the interview? If by some chance I do get accepted after the interview, can they rescind the offer?

**MICRO and P.CHEM are not prereqs for the cali schools I applied to

I wouldn't worry, just focus on your interview performance because they already think your GPA is good enough.

Thanks for the reply. Should I bring it up in the interview? I dont want the adcoms to be let down when they see the academic update

I think the classic answer that I've seen on this forum so far is "not unless asked".
If they ask about your recent academic performance during interview, don't lie. Like you said, they will see your grade when they receive academic update. So being dishonest about something that they will or have potentially found out already is well.... stupid 🙄 If they don't ask, I say just be confident during interview and have them find out your grade through academic update.

I would definitely NOT bring it up in the interview. Its less than ideal to focus on the weaknesses of an application.. Your grades are great! You should definitely bring up that and all of the hard work you put into it.

Thank you all for the replies! Happy Holiday's!
