Have you even taken the DAT yet? If you get like a 20 coupled with a 3.1 BCP GPA and FANTASTIC EC's, that might net you an acceptance somewhere, but it doesn't seem like your ECs are too extensive.

Your BCP GPA needs work, concentrate during your junior year and take lots of heavy upper-division science courses. BCP GPA = #1 in eyes of Adcoms.

You are going to be fine. So long as you keep chugging out those A's (and take at least 2-3 science classes a semester), then a good DAT score and decent ECs will win the day for you. With so few science classes under your belt, the sGPA will be relatively easy to bring up. (Also Frogger is right about the BCP thing.)

I had a Freshman year GPA of 2.8, and didn't improve as quickly as you seem to have improved. None-the-less I have secured 4 interviews so far (two pre-dec), even with a late application.

I'm guessing you will be a strong applicant, assuming you still want to pursue dentistry when the time comes to apply.

My advice, for what its worth, would be to start networking with dentists and admissions people. It looks like you are at the perfect stage to begin those things (assuming you have some shadowing under your belt).

Good luck.

You're only a sophmore right? Your GPA is only gonna go high, if you're going to continue that upward trend. Just keep getting As. You'll be over 3.5 after you graduate. Most schools will overlook that C. However, it will most likely be brought up in your interview. Don't sweat it though. Your chances are as good as everyone elses. Just keep doing good.

You have nothing to worry about. Just keep getting As.

My first 35 credits averaged out to a 2.9 cGPA at a community college. Transferred to a 4 year university received a 3.94 GPA for my next 100 credits. Averaged out to a 3.61 and acceptance to dental school 😉
