Hi I'm a sophomore in college and is new to sdn. I did not focus on academics for the first two years in college. Now I'm worried that my prereq gpa is too low to dental schools. I have gotten 1 B, 1 C in gen chem, 1 C 1 A in ochem, 2 Bs in Biology, 1B 1A in Physics, 2 Cs in calculus. I'm doing ok in rest of my non science classes (A-s). I want to apply after my senior year and hope to have around a 3.5 cumulative. However, do you guys think my prereq grades are too low? Should I retake some of them? Thank you so much!

try to do well in your rest of the science classes (AP, MicroBio, Biochem etc.) and take some additional upper level science classes to show an upward trend.... and don't forget about DAT - make sure you do well there as well....

cheers!
