I recently finished graduate school at Cornell and have an interview lined up at NYU in a few weeks. I am nervous about it for one major reason...the trend in GPA.

My undergraduate GPA was not stellar but I nevertheless, I graduated with a degree in Biology with a 3.35. I decided to go to graduate school to pursue an interest in engineering (which was completely new to me) and for that I suffered when I had to take engineering courses at junior and senior levels in different departments. Long story short, I have several C's on my graduate record and I will probably finish up with a 3.0 (give or take a minor fluctuation).

I am worried about how this will reflect on the ultimate decision as anyone else would be. I did have a health issue that I had to deal with for quite a while but ultimately, I don't know if that will suffice.

HEEEEELLLLPPPPP!!!!:scared:

You don't need help with anything. You already applied and have an interview. Tell them your story. That's all you can do now.

They invited you for an interview, so obviously they like something. If you explain what you have to say and do well on your interview, you should be fine. I'm sending them an email of declination probably in the next few days so you can take my spot 🙂
