What do I do if I think the interviewer did not give me a chance to express myself? I mean, he asked a lot of dumb questions and acted disinterested in everything I had to say and wasted time talking about stupid things. Do I still have a shot or am I done at that school?

meh, it happens. I can guarantee I can top your wierd interview story... unless you thought it was standoutishly unfair, I think you just have to wait it out and see what happens.

Eh, happens to everyone. Luck of the draw. I've had one interviewer tell me he "disliked" my personal statement while another interviewer AT THE SAME SCHOOL said he thought it was well thought out. Cross your fingers and pray for the best.

Unless you know for sure that you did something incredibly stupid like eat off the floor in front of the interviewer, your interview probably went much better than you think. Chill out and wait for the process to pan out. Two things likely happened during your interview. First, the interviewer thought you were incredibly polite because you let him/her ramble on and politely listened. Second, the interviewer wanted you to show some assertiveness and engage in the interview which you either did or did not do.

In any event, the interview is over and again, it probably went much better than you remember. Most people are too nervous to pick up on what is happening during these interviews and run them over and over in their minds worrying about every point that they can remember. Resist the urge to do this because ruminating about something in the past only makes you crazy and doesn't change the situation. Chalk this one up to experience and put it behind you. You may be quite surprised when you get the acceptance letter.
