bad reading comprehension

Hmmm, Reading Comp is definitely the hardest section to improve it because "studying" more information won't help you. Usually a lot of practice helps best.

If time is the main problem, then I suggest that you read the 1st question and then start reading the passage. Once you get the answer to that question, move to next question and so on. I've noticed that the questions on the RC are more or less in order - with a few random ones interspersed in the middle. If you follow this method, you'll notice that by the time you're done reading/skimming the passage, you'll have already answered the majority of questions. Definitely saves a lot of time... I actually finished my RC with time to spare.

head over to pubmed.org download some free science articles, read 2 every day or 1 and you're going to do fine.
