So I am headed to get some pretty terrible grades this semester. I am a 4th semester and my gpa is around a 3.7. There's really no excuse I can make besides I went through a break up and desperately tried to get girls, did too many drugs, partied too much, etc. I did put in a good amount of work but my priorities were really screwed up. I am looking at getting an A/A- in some psych class, a C/C+ in intro bio, a C/c+/B- in orgo 1 and a D/D+/c- in pre calc. The course load might seem light but I am pretty awful with math and intro bio at my school is ridiculous, I am doing really well on lecture tests but failing lab which is 40% of my grade. I find orgo easy and if I had more time I would be aceing it. I feel like I learned so much from this semester about how to properly study and take notes but it came too late. What I am saying is that I feel like I can do well in the next two years but I want to know if I should retake anything?

I wouldn't retake a C, and precalc isn't worth it either imo (unless you have to talk calc and feel like you're seriously unprepared).

Just do better in the future.

I plan on it, intro bio here is worse than enhanced anatomy and physiology in terms of work and just a little less work than biochem. I took the first semester of bio really late so I could avoid this specific teacher but I had to bite the bullet. But if I get a D+ in precalc should I retake it ? I know I can get an A if I take it over the summer at a branch - i know the material pretty well, I just bombed the trig test.

"The course load might seem light..." It is a light if you don't have a full time job.
"I am pretty awful with math and intro bio at my school is ridiculous..." Don't sugarcoat it. You wasted this semester, so it's not ridiculous.
"I find orgo easy and if I had more time I would be aceing it..." It's because you overestimated your abilities that your grade suffered in the first place.
"What I am saying is that I feel like I can do well in the next two years..." Not if you keep up your bad lifestyle choices.

Okay, I'll stop biting. But I wanted to show you that your excuses are by no means valid. There really is no excuse for failure outside of a medical condition, traumatic event, and serious family obligations.

Just take responsibility and do well next semester. This may involve talking to a school counselor, separating yourself from bad influences, and doing more ECs. And if you haven't started getting clinical experience by sophomore year, you better get started immediately.

And a C doesn't warrant a retake unless your cGPA or sGPA is really low as a result. However, a D+ in precalc may be problematic in terms of satisfying your graduation requirement. Additionally, Physics I&II are application requirements, and that typically requires some math prerequisites (depends on the institution). At my institution, Physics I & II required calculus, and calculus requires a grade of C or above in precalc.

What should you do you ask?

Stop doing drugs. Stop being a ***** that gets all butthurt when a girl breaks up with you. Stop YOLOing like someone dumb enough to still use the word YOLO. Start focusing on your studies, retake anything lower than a C-, and never, ever screw up again.

I went through a divorce and the end of a three year engagement while in college, and I never let it hit my grades. Learn to compartmentalize. I partied hard, but only when I knew I could pull it off- learn to celebrate when it is appropriate. And seriously, don't do drugs. I've seen so many lives ruined by either becoming too addicted to them or charges stemming from either possession or dumb things done under the influence, it just isn't worth it. Stick to good old fashioned alcohol, cigarettes, caffeine, and whatever you've got a script for.
