Wondering if it's bad that I haven't done an academic update for last semesters grades. The semester ended in December. I got a C in one class. I'm on a couple waitlists and don't really want schools to see the C yet. My plan is to wait till I graduate and update then (hoping for all As this semester and that will make the C look less worse). But by not updating does that send out an uninterested vibe to the schools I'm waitlisted at?

Whether or not it hurts you by not sending them is hard to say. But it certainly is a lot worse than had you done really well this semester and then updated. I've heard of that being the boost some needed to get over the waitlist hump.

Worse case scenario man you apply again next year and have some time to improve your app. Still a good chance you will get an acceptance.

What was the C in?

If the rest of the grades were good you should probably send an update as it shows interest.

Technically you should send grades in anyway...

It was in a community health type class.
