Bad to have lots of LOR on AMCAS but choose to not send some?

Do medical schools see all the potential letters you registered onto AMCAS?
Is it bad to upload a bunch and only send half (5 or 6?)

dumb question probably, but i was just wondering, because AMCAS doesn't delete any entries that you op out of sending, it just says "will not send" or something next to it.

No, its fine. They give you the ability to upload so many letters because different schools have different requirements. They want to give you the option of sending different schools different letters if you so choose. Its fine if you choose not to send some.
