i finished my bds from andhra in ug 2011.i came here on visitors visa to my parents house.i will be staying till april.im planning on preparing for nbde.i have downloaded kaplan,mosby books,n dentl decks.will these be sufficient?do i have to give even part 1 from USA or can i give it from any other place.how many times is nbde part 1 conducted in a year?do i need gre?im planning on giving the exam in 2012 or 2013.its looks like its a very tough thing and it is scary.plz do help me out.

Hey! First of all, it's not that much of a tough and scary thing as you think it is. I used Kaplan Lecture Notes, Dental Decks, Mosby, and First Aid. I also used Wikipedia, my dental school books, and other resources as well. I felt that these resources were sufficient. The NBDE may only be given in the U.S. at the moment as far as I know. You may check on ada.org at which locations the NBDE is administered at. It is actually administered throughout most large U.S. cities at various times throughout the year. You would not need to take the GRE if you plan on applying to dental school as an advanced standing student for a DDS or DMD degree.

where did u get ur dental decks from?i have seen at the ebay but they all are bid options.n re 2012-2013 decks required if im to give the xam in 2012.does any1 noe if ny bookstores sell them?

well you can either buy them from ebay, or you go to the official website to buy them directly, as far as i know libraries doesn't sell them. http://www.dentaldecks.com/
the exam is offer only in the stats and canada as far as i know.

do we need to know even thorax and limbs part in anatomy.how do we remeber all the muscles?its very confusing.is the test really dificult?i plan on taking it in april and wht about the new changes?
