So i'm trying to put together a study plan for Step 1.
Have a couple of weeks off before starting second semester of M2.

First year was a bit of a struggle at times, year 2 has been much better, as far as grades. I feel like I don't remember a lot of the details from past courses. Not so much concepts, but all the little details. I feel like this stuff should come back, but only with some work.

I'm thinking I could spare some time this semester for Step prep, if I sacrificied a little time from course studying.

What have people done in the past?
I hear some say it's best to just focus on course work now, and then just cram in all the review during dedicated step studying.

I'll have about 6 weeks of dedicated time.
It just doesn't seem like much to try to cram in all the needed review.

All comments would be appreciated.

IMO these two statements are somewhat at odds. If you have struggled in your courses in the past, then that is where you need to focus your attention. You are doing something right this year since you've improved your grades. The best board prep you can do for yourself right now is make sure to continue doing your best in your current courses - if you try to spread yourself thin by studying for boards at the same time you may go from "a bit" of a struggle to a BIG struggle.
