A population of rabbits is in Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium, with 9 percent of the pop. homozygous recessive for the albino trait. The percent of the population that is heterozygous for the albino trait is:

ANSWER: 21 %

Is this correct? I thought it was 42 %

well, lets see if aa=9% then aa=.09 so a=.3 and A=.7 so 2(.3)(.7)=.42 or 42 percent. Yes you are correct. FOOKING BARRONS!
