So I've done some reading on past threads, and it seems that Barron's is great for the PAT but worthless for everything else. Is that true? Let me know, or slap me in the face if I'm wrong.

Yes, I would say that is true. I used Barrons to study for my DAT. My scores were:

AA:19
TS:19
Chem: 17
Bio: 17 (Terrible bio section in Barrons)
OChem: 23 (I was already good at it and I corrected multiple mistakes in the Barrons book)
RC: 20 (Didn't study for it)
QR: 17
PAT: 24

Now I'm trying to decide whether I should retake it or not. I think I'm leaning towards retaking it. Is that a good idea? This next time I'm going to use DAT Destroyer and see how that boosts my Bio, Chem, and QR.
Good Luck 😳

I only used the Barron's book and the Kaplan Big Blue Book, and I scored 21/21/21.

I thought that the Kaplan book was far better than the Barron's book, but I wanted the extra practice that the Barron's book provided beyond the 3 Kaplan practice tests.

Beware that the Barron's book is plagued with typo mistakes in the answer key throughout both practice tests. This makes it extremely frustrating as a practice tool since you have to decide if you agree if Barrons is correct or if the answer provided is a typo mistake.

Even the answer key of PAT has typo mistakes.

I'm not the only person that has noticed the mistakes. This topic has come up before in SDN.
