Barry email?

Hi -

Has anyone been assigned a Barry email account yet? I need to complete my financial aid package (i.e. loan entrance interview) and in order to do so, I need a Barry email account. Have any of you completed your $$$ package yet?

As of late last week, Marisel told me that new student packets and accounts for registration won't be created until (she predicts) next month (???).

huh? i was able to fill out all my loan information without a barry id. i can't believe its gonna be july before we get the info packets.

I completed my fin aid information with out a Barry email account. I used my personal email account. I was told the same thing that the packets will not be sent out until July.

i'm almost positive they will give us e-mail accounts during orientation. its just a guess but it would make sense since they haven't given them out yet.

You have to activate your Barry online account (email, BlackBoard, StudentWeb, Library login, print/copy account, etc) by setting up a password and everything from a computer on campus.

You're in the system and have and ID number and Barry online login if you're accepted and sent your deposit, but you have to active the account and make a password from a computer lab or library here. It takes 5mins and they'll help you set it up during orientation. If you get to Miami earlier, you can set it up yourself by going to campus and asking the IT guys in the library or computer lab to help you.
