I have an interview with Barry on Weds and I'm wondering if anyone has interviewed with them before? Any tips welcome, they are one of my top choices 🙂
Good luck and congrats on your interview! I also have an interview and mine is on Thursday! They are one of my top choices as well so I hope someone replies and gives us some insight. [emoji1]

Hi! I submitted my application in early December and it got verified quickly after that. Its never a bad idea to call them and just check on the statues of your app. I checked in with one of the other schools I applied to and it turned out that they actually needed a syllabus from one of my courses and once I sent them that I got offered an interview. I think it shows them how interested in their program you are as well!Hi, I also applied to Barry and was wondering how long it took to hear from them after you submitted your application?
Thank you!

You're welcome! It went very well! It was pretty relaxed but there was a writing portion at the beginning. It wasn't anything crazy, they just wanted one to two paragraphs on a very simple question that was subjective and easy to write. I actually got my acceptance email a few hours ago!Thank you for the advice! I did call and it was very helpful! How did your interview go?

I did too! Congrats! Another word of advice- make sure to prepare questions for them. During my interview I was only asked two questions and the rest of the time was spent asking questions myself!

I’m not sure yet- luckily they’re giving us quite a while to figure it out. I’m just waiting on two more schools to make a final decision. Are you accepting it?

So for the interview you recommend having questions for them right? Again, thank you for your help
Absolutely! Most of my interview was me asking questions and getting to know the program better other than what I already knew based on what they provided on their website. Also, by me asking questions it opened up the conversation to talk about other things which relaxed the mood a bit.So for the interview you recommend having questions for them right? Hey guys,
I am applying this year and had a question for those who applied. Did you have trouble personalizing your personal statement to other programs using Barry’s PS requirements? I know they ask to write about “ how we will overcome the challenge of working, family life and OT school” but I am not sure if I should include in my general PS since many other full time school don’t like their students working too many hours.
