Hello,

I wanted to clarify something regarding base selection. While filling out my initial HPSP packet I had indicated three bases which I would want to be stationed at. When it comes time to actually go to my first active duty assignment, will I have the opportunity to pick any other bases? Or am I expected to honor one of the 3 choices that I listed, should one of them become available?

I know this may seem like a silly question, but I was just curious.

Senior year they will contact you with options of what is actually available. That is when you make your decision. What you filled out now will have little impact.

^^^This is what I assumed, but I have been wondering the same thing as the OP.

I am surprised to hear that we will get somewhat of a choice at the end of school.
