I was wondering if anyone knows what the difference in a 3.60 GPA applicant vs a 3.50 GPA applicant in the admissions process for DPT school, all other factors being the same?
Everything else being the same, and assuming 180 total units (quarter system), I am guessing (like really guessing) thats a difference of at least 5-10 courses of getting all A's (3.6) versus getting A's and B's (3.5). Then, I would assume admissions then goes and looks at prereq courses and determines who got better grades in those.
Really though it's dependent upon likely if it's for a pre-req since many schools care more about what you did in Physics than in an Art credit. Look at the schools and see what exactly they want. I sit at a 3.6 for cgpa and pre-req GPA and it places me in waitlist city. If anything, try emailing your selected schools and ask this question to their admissions
