Hey everybody,
I am wondering if anyone can throw in their two cents about Baylor's anesthesia program. I thought they did a fantastic job presenting the program during the interview, but I feel that I did not get enough info from the residents. Can anyone share what they do or do not like about this place. Thanks for any input.

Also, I have searched the threads on the anesthesia forum, but I am looking for updated information regarding this residency after their split with methodist.

One thing that bugged me about the Baylor interview was the 15 minute, hurried lunch with the residents--guess we were behind schedule and had to make up time so we could go on the bus tour. Yeah, I felt the same way as you...very impressed with Drs. Raty and Conlay but didn't get to talk to enough residents. It wouldn't have been a big deal if there was a dinner the night before, but since there wasn't, they should have given us plenty of time with the residents at lunch. For whatever reason, I heard "things" along the trail regarding Baylor and how several residents are unhappy there...one resident even told a fellow applicant to "not come here." For what its worth, I wrote a review of my interview...just do a search.
