Hello. Can anyone please give me some information on the Baylor Post Bacc. Is it only open to Texas residents? Is it competitive (assuming the applicant is disadvantaged)? Any other useful info?
It is for Texas residents that have applied to Baylor Dental school before and not accepted. A total of 16 people are accepted...and from last years post, most of them BUT NOT ALL have a Masters degree. If you're accepted, you're pretty much accepted into their dental school for the following year. You have to score an 18 after the DAT prep course, and maintain a GPA of at least 3.25 in the courses that they recommend you take (at UTD or UNT) and you're in for sure! I'm applying for this cycle! Hope it helps!i believe it is only open to texas resident
I'm new here! I applied to the Baylor Past Bacc Program and I have an interview on Wednesday. Natasha called me while at work last Friday morning. I'm so stoked! I'm assuming that there are 6 people interviewing on that date because she gave me two different times in the morning.
Anyone else has an interview date? So, I am ssuming that they were open during Spring Break? AllAboutSmiles, when did you turn in your application? Would you mind sharing your stats? Congrats by the way and goodluck. I'm sure you'll do great!
i applied in early feb when the application was available so i am guessing they recieved all the required documents by mid feb. I am not hundred percent sure but when i spoke to Natasha she was talking something about that the only students who have so far recieved a call are the ones who applied last year too.
Hey everyone, I submitted my application in late February and had an interview today (Monday). As far as I know they are interviewing on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of this week and don't know whether or not they will continue next week. They mentioned that they had received around 70-75 applications and would be taking the 16. They also mentioned that they wanted to let us know quickly in order for people to make arrangements whether they were accepted or not. That is about all they let us know. Good luck to everyone who has applied and let us know if more interviews occur next week.
Hey peeps, i called Natasha this morning and she said they are pretty much done with the interviewing process , that if Dr. Lacy has the need for more students or if anyone rejects the offer, she'll continue the interviewing process!!!
