I am applying to Baylor and am an OSS. Therefore, I have to fill out baylors d-school app as well. Can I just cut and paste things that I had on my AADSAS into that or does it need to be completely different??

I'm in the same boat. I think I'm going to use the same stuff from AADSAS..at least for parts regarding extracurricular and dentistry experience. The personal statement, IMO, should be different.

I pretty much finished the secondary application. There are 3 parts to it. I'm waiting to have some free time for me to take the 2 x 2 picture before officially submitting it.

I finished the secondary and ethnicity one, now I am doing the primary application which seems like the AADSAS....I am still confused if I should just include the same things that are on my AADSAS on there...

Essentially same info...but I know that the essay topics are different...AND more! They asked me to submit this other app after the secondary, not sure what it is...any ideas guys?

There are two other things you need to turn in after the secondary app. I got this from Baylor's website

"Once the BCD Secondary Application is submitted the BCD Primary Application and Ethnicity Form will be assigned to the applicant."

After e-submitting the secondary, you will be have access to the primary app and the ethnicity form.

Oh, and did anyone notice that the primary requested for a 2x2.5? I thought that passport photos were usually 2x2. Do you guys think I can just turn in a 2x2?

I was wondering the exact same thing. I was going to take several 2x2.5 and cut some up for those schools needing 2x2.

Its not the ethnicity form I have already done those...This was something that was emailed to me me.

Something e-mailed? I didn't get anything like that...What kind of information does this form ask for? All the stuff I have been doing was through BAMF...😕

Well it was straight from someone in admissions that wanted me to submit another form via mail (pdf i think) and the weird thing is that I haven't submitted my application yet....But if I was you, I wouldn't get discouraged though especially since TMDSAS has a much longer application and it was pushed back originally to start with...How about SA and Houston, heard anything from them yet?

Well I only sent in the secondary but the email came out of nowhere I swear lol...I have other friends applying there as well and they didn't receive it either...the only conclusion I can draw is that they are making some intricate plan to reject me?!😱 But what are your stats? BTW in all seriousness...the things that make me stick out is being 18, research, internship, hospital rotations, volunteering, done with college, and the other tidbits...I could be completely wrong though.

Just curious. Do OOS applicant apply to Baylor because they think there is a connection between BCD and BCM? I visited the school and was impressed but was wondering what people heard about BCD that made them want to apply even though OOS acceptance in Texas is slim.

No, I am in state applicant lol...But I know that Texas schools in general are highly selective about OOS and pretty much want phenomenal scores. What are your stats though?

Try using Wikipedia, then compare it to like a bigger part of dallas and see if that is concerned financially poor?

I just submitted my seconday, and received an email saying i was affiliated with Baylor so I had to fill out an identity form, where they only asked for my id and d/o/b... Did everybody fill out this identiy form?... and I havent heard anything about the ethnicity or primary appl, maybe I just need to wait for them?

I think the ethnicity/primary forms are only for out-of-state applicants. I applied through TMDSAS and also received the brief secondary form and identity form so we're in the same boat.
