hi, i am an animal physiology major. However, this department is under the Cell systems biology department in our school. Our courses are designated as bio, thus I took animal physiology, animal endocrinology and animal energetics. However, I just realized amcas may sort these as animal sciences.....am i screwed?? are these courses not biology courses??

the material we learn in class is very similar to the human systems....

Classify them as Bio on your AMCAS. Worst that can happen is they change it to Animal Science.

Even if they do change it, be prepared with the class syllabi that show you focused on Humans and you can make an appeal.

Ahh i see! Thanks so much! that really helped my mini-freakout right now. Do you know if these appeals are usually successful??

I actually don't have any experience with appeals nor do I have the stats on the success rate. Somebody else would have to provide that insight for you.

Good luck!
