BCPS Recertification due by Dec. 2026

Hey everyone, I'm having trouble understanding how to renew my BCPS certification. Will need 120 CPE credits by the end of the 7 year renewal period. ASHP provides a 1 year recertification course, and a more expensive 3-year recertification course. Why is one more expensive than the other? And do the recertification courses provide all 120 credits we need? I'm not sure why this information is not on the website.

yes it does provide 120 hours but you do have to stick to their schedule and do the modules. i only did it to get the articles and materials because the materials are all uptodate and current guidelines and current therapeutic approaches so they are very useful. even as just a teaching tool for students and residents.. lol. i missed doing the credit part for 1/2 of the stuff so i just ended up taking the exam which worked out fine
