Hi I was wondering how hard it might be to be a mom and do ortho once in practice? Would I be able to still make dinner a few nights a week or take the kids to soccer and things like that? Im hoping to do more of the elective surgeries like sports or joints. How bad is call usually?

This is really dependent on what practice you join and other confounding factors; however, as an attending you pretty much can find a practice that suits your needs.
