FA states that BMD is an x-linked point mutation. But after reading a Uworld explanation, Its says that BMD is due to DELETIONS that ARE multiples of 3, thus preserving the reading frame, and resulting in a truncated BUT FUNCTIONAL protein. I know this might not be so high-yield, but i wanted to clear the misconception, if there is any. Does anyone have any info on this? Thanks
