I have just recently found the option of becoming a CNRA. I am eager to figure out more about it. I will be shadowing a CNRA this next week but I wanted to ask a few questions on here about the MCAT for this poisition. To become a CNRA I know I go to nursing school instead of medical school, but do I still have to take the MCAT or do I take a different test? What all does the job occupation consists of? Thanks for all the help!

P.S. Sorry if this is not the right location of the forum to place this thread but I'm very new to the website and since it consisted of a MCAT question I just posted it here.

It's CRNA (certified registered nurse anesthetist). You will need either a BSN or a BS and be an unrestricted RN with at least a year of critical care nursing experience and most likely the GRE, though some programs waive it if your prerequisite and overall GPA is high enough. These programs are very competitive. Check our all nurses.com if you're interested in the nursing program. I can tell you from experience that if your primary interest is medicine, the BSN will be no enjoyable cake walk.
