Either American Heart Association or American Red Cross? I thought this was standard. There are literally dozens certifying agencies, but they all answer to either AHA or Red Cross or both.My school did not accept online certification AND they only accepted certain CPR certs too (specific certifying agencies).
Probably not. Just go to a hospital's CPR class.Hello, I'm getting CPR online. Just want to make sure that any place that certifies CPR is fine to become certified via.
I'm from NJ and they do here. Go the website and type bls or cpr for health professionals. Or something like that and follow the links. Or you can just call them.Hospitals offer these?
Just go to AHA or American Red Cross website and find a site in your city that offers BLS for Health Professionals. You may be able to do a blended course where you learn the material and take the test online and then bring the certificate to a hands-on session where you practice on dummies and get your card. Otherwise CPR takes a couple hours at most and is often offered on weekends.
I sent a copy to my school after I was accepted. Did mine in a hospital. Took maybe 3 hours at most om a Saturday morning. When have you been asked for your CPR certificate?
