In Kaplan it says BeH2 is a linear molecule oriented at a 180 degree angle so is sp hybridized. Does a molecule have to have a triple bond to be sp hybridized?

I drew this out, and i'm getting a linear structure as well. So, I would say no, it doesn't need a triple bond to be linear. CO2 is linear, and it has a double bond.
