If I could do one book, I would pick BRS. But then again my advice doesnt hold much weight. 😀

I did kaplan for the shelf, and did fine with it, and am using it for the step, since i've already done it. This doesn't really answer your question, sorry. But, all in all, i don't think u can go wrong by choosing any one of them. I suppose if u have the time, go for BRS or kaplan.

Defense Mechs
DSMIV
Epidemiology
Ethics
HumanDevelopment
Statistics
Substance Abuse
I have a feeling that you can plow through all of them in a day or so. I'm having the largest problem in QBank with the 'ethics' questions ... Hmmm ...

By skipping all the BS classes, he has a huge advantage for the boards. I guess some guys know how to play the game. I'm jealous because I still haven't read the Kaplan Behavioral Science book once yet. That's what I get for burning bridges. You never know when someone smarter has better resources. I really should have given him access to webprep when he asked for it last december. That's the funny thing about life, you really don't know when someone has something that you might need. I've learned my lesson, from now on if someone asks for something I'm going to give it to them even if it is a netter's cd. Who knows, maybe they might already have good resources for the clinical shelf exams, and Step 2.
