I'm trying to decided what other book to use in addition to the Kaplan Notes and First Aid. Which of these do you think is the best option:

BRS
Clinical Vignettes
Behavioral Science Made Ridiculously Simple

Or do you think Kaplan Notes + FA is enough for Behavioral Science?

Why would you add to kaplan + FA? Yea, that is enough. I used just kaplan for the shelf and did well. Plus, a lot of behav questions, I feel, you understand and learn by PRACTICE questions. The concepts are all the same in all books. You have to apply those concepts to quote questions and clinical scenarios. I think you should pick one book, whether it's kaplan, or HY, or BRS, (+FA), and do lots of pract q's. Good luck.

Hidden Truth,

I was thinking Kaplan Notes and FA may not be enough because I felt they were kind of just touching on the subject and not getting too into it. But maybe that is the nature of Behavioral Science...not too meaty.

Then I've also heard BRS is overkill for Behavioral Science, but that it has good questions. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

I thought BRS was really good. I read this for the shelf and did extremely well. (93) The questions at the end of BRS are exactly like the Shelf questions. Sometimes I even felt I was seeing the same question. Most of the test felt as though it was written by the author of BRS. BRS is a quick read. You can sit down in a comfy chair w. a cup fo your favorite beverage and get through the whole book in one day, including questions. I did take a look at Kaplan and it seemed decent, but I'd still go with BRS if I had to do it again. Spend 1 day on behavior towards the end of your studying. It pays off big time. Ohh yea, dont forget to read the Behavior section in FA (read EVERYTHING in FA. Don't skip a single page)
