I have taken two quarters of general chemistry w/o lab at UCSD (I will be transferring to Berkeley Fall 2020), and these courses have been approved by the UC Berkeley chemistry department to be equivalent to Chem 1A. Would anyone happen to know if this is sufficient for med school admissions, if I just continued to take Chem 1AL, Chem 3A/AL, 3B/BL, etc, at UC Berkeley?
Technically, the two quarters of general chemistry is not a whole year of general chemistry, but it is classified officially as equivalent to Chem 1A at UC Berkeley, and I will be taking the rest of the series here.
Any experience with something like this would be appreciated.
