I've never understood why anyone would pay $150 for used books when the new ones are only about $40 more. I'd pay the extra money for clean copies of up-to-date books. Then again, maybe I'm bitter about having bought materials from auctions that were thrashed and a few years outdated, despite the "nearly new" label in the auction.

Hi,

I can assure you that these books are not thrashed--in fact, they would be completely new except for the fact that there is a little dirt on the cover. The insides have never been written on and are brand new. In addition, I'm pretty sure the Berkeley review site sells the books for $50 each, so that would be considerably more than the price asked. Also, we could throw in some old exams from Berkeley review (that have been written on) and Writing Sample tips/notes if that makes the offer more sweet.
