I am wondering that some of the schools drop a student's worst year grade and only consider 3 years(or 2 years for some school).

Then, my question is that they also count those three years' science gpa? or do they count all pre-requisite gpa(including those worst year's science courses)?

Thank you, guys! Happy new year.

Wow, what are you smoking?!

No, there aren't any schools that drop bad grades. All of them will consider an increasing trend over the years as a positive attribute, but that doesn't guarantee anything. All grades are counted no matter what. I have grades (B,C,D & F's) that are 20 years old and a current 4.0 from the last 3 years, making my overall GPA 2.86/SCI 3.02. I did get 2 acceptances this cycle, but it has been an uphill battle to get past my old grades. Last year I didn't even get an interview.

If you started out your college career poorly, buckle down now. If you still don't have competitive grades, look into a MS program. Good luck and don't give up!
